"Ashcan" Duke Middle of the Road

Pretty standard "Ashcan" Pete deck with access to a single core and the whole Dunwich cycle and utilizes typical Dark Horse shinanigans.

This deck leans heavily on Duke and an active Dark Horse in order to more-or-less consistently Fight and Investiagte successfully. Fire Axe and Dig Deep allows for mid-action activation of Dark Horse at the same time providing stat boosts themselves. While this is an asset-heavy deck, the cost curve is rather low, so cards like Forbidden Knowledge and Lone Wolf can provide (at times on-demand) action-less funding of most card play and/or paid action triggers while keeping Dark Horse active.

Duke, Newspaper and Deduction is a great investigate combo but is not very consistent. It does shore up my single copy of Magnifying Glass. Rise to the Occasion can be substituted for Newspaper too.

Scavenging is there to mitigate the cost of Aschan's ability and the occasional asset-hating treachery.

Peter Sylvestre and Painkillers round out my asset suite to provide reliable damage healing.
