An upgraded version of the Mind Over Madness deck originally posted by zozo and talked about on the Drawn to the Flame podcast. I've been taking Carolyn through The Forgotten Age and this is what I've ended up with for the latter half of the campaign. There's a lot of XP thrown in here, but TFA seems pretty generous with the XP. Aggressive use of Delve Too Deep early is needed to get things up and running, after which it can be swapped out.
Early on things can be pretty rough, with enemies coming off of the treachery deck early being pretty tough to deal with. Shrivelling deals with a chunk of enemies, but there are enough 3 and 4 health ones that pop up that Blood Eclipse becomes necessary. This is one of my favourite cards to be printed and I think that it has a bit of an odd home with Carolyn but it has been effective so far, particularly when you've got a Second Wind in hand.
The Physical Training + Well Prepared combo is as potent here as ever, as we plenty of assets and can always do with an extra Will pump. Ever Vigilant is just insane value and by the time you get Stick to the Plan added in, you can slap two on there along with a trusty Dynamite Blast and get some great efficiency early on.
Forbidden Knowledge + Peter Sylvestre generates some amazing economy for Carolyn, and also serves as a nice way to counter To Fight the Black Wind when it pops up. Moment of Respite lets us heal up if needed (as well as refunding a resource), particularly if we have St. Hubert's Key out. We can also use it to activate Foolishness if we get them both.
There's definitely some room to tweak the rest of the cards depending on what you're looking to do:
Preposterous Sketches is just great card draw, something which is needed as this deck can churn through cards.
Storm of Spirits is something I don't think I've cast once, although I still like having it just in case. Astral Travel might be a better substitute here, particularly in TFA?
Scene of the Crime is just a good card, and I find myself worrying about Shroud 3 and 4 locations more than I should.
Drawn to the Flame for the same reason - this can be added in after a few scenarios where Carolyn is better equipped to deal with Treacheries.
Anyways, this was just a quick write-up of a deck I've been enjoying a lot solo. Thanks to the guys at Drawn to the Flame for the inspiration and let me know if you have any feedback below!

I'm actually curious about 3 things with this deck:
Why do you not have an upgraded Peter Sylvestre to get the Willpower boost in a deck that focuses on casting spells??
How do you manage to get around treacheries without any skill cards in your deck, especially in Forgotten Age??
