Levelheaded can help Miguel deal with treachery cards.With it, you can replace the usual Do-or-Die with Resourceful, which gives you and more flexibility when handling Feline Hybrid, while also helping you retrieve Take Heart from the discard pile.

As for Decoy Trap, it doesn't see a ton of use, but since it can also shore up Feline Hybrid, I think it's worth including one copy.

Between "Shove off!" and Guerrilla Tactics, I prefer the level-0 version of "Shove off!", since it covers both evading and dealing damage. That said, the upgraded Guerrilla Tactics does a better job against Feline Hybrid, so if you have the XP, it's a solid swap.

When it comes to Emergency Cache vs Same Old Thing, emergency cache fits Miguel better because he has an extra action to work with. Plus, emergency cache can be tutored by Backpack, which gives backpack more potential value.

Finally, Makeshift Trap—with upgrades from Refine over the first few scenarios—becomes super super strong.

Oh! I almost forgot—— "Chosen of Zburamoarte" also fits Miguel really well.
