Vincent Lee is full of secrets (22 xp)

The combo (basic principle)

• Gabriel Carillo: Draw 1 card and add 1 token to the chaos bag
• The Key of Solomon: Remove the token from the chaos bag and gain 2 resources
• Ariadne's Twine: Turn 1 of these resources into a secret
• Spend the secret on Scroll of Secrets(3)

→ Draw 1 card, gain 1 resource and trigger Scroll of Secrets(3) once per turn every turn at no cost.

The combo (full potential)

After cycling through your deck once, your final setup includes

• 2 copies of Scroll of Secrets(3) (remember that Occult Reliquary provides a hand slot for The Key of Solomon)
• 2 copies of Ariadne's Twine

→ Draw 1 card and trigger Scroll of Secrets(3) twice per turn every turn at no cost.

Of course you could play Bonesaw as your 3rd hand slot, saving you the trouble of playing 2 copies of scroll and twine, but I just love how the numbers are a perfect match in this configuration :) .

Rest of the deck

As most assets are dedicated to the above combo, clue compression is achieved using skill cards (Deduction, Contemplative, Sharp Vision) and "Look what I found!".

Lucky! and "Look what I found!" act as failsafe against high shroud location.

Blasphemous Covenant is protection against tokens in case you draw Gabriel Carillo much earlier than The Key of Solomon.

Survivability & doing your job as a healer is ensured by Hallowed Mirror, Bandages, Bizarre Diagnosis and Logical Reasoning.

Early resource economy is covered by Stand Together and Crack the Case, which can later fully support the team.

Many cards in the deck have double icons which can be useful to commit to scenario tests.

Resourceful has plenty of relevant targets.

Further upgrades

Additional xp can be spent on

• Higher Education because the above combo provides massive economy and lets you balance resource gain vs card draw
• Surgical Kit (replacing Bizarre Diagnosis) because you are Vincent Lee
• Deduction(2) because your clue compression relies on skill cards.
• Studious because it's never a bad choice
