The goal of this deck is to use Gift of Nodens and loop survivor cards such as Brute Force, Sharp Vision, and Long Shot to do large amounts amounts of damage and clues, often being able to get clues 2-3 at a time and do 3+ damage each hit.
Strategy: Get your hand size up with cards like Cornered, Artistic Inspiration, Nautical Charts, and Idol of Xanatos. Stack your boat with good survivor skill cards. Once Nodens is in play you can use the cards from your boat first, then use them again from your discard pile. Avoid shuffling your deck with this strategy, since his weakness is very disruptive to the strategy and takes a full round to recover from.
Enemy Management: Fire Axe is the main weapon, you can get a good hit at 7 fight each round with your 2 resource income. Brute Force, Stunning Blow, and Long Shot are also great for extra damage and evading.
Clueing: Sharp Vision and Contemplative are the main skills you'll be looping to get large amounts of clues. If you have the economy, you can also put down Nautical Charts to have a consistent 2 clue action, or just use it once to get your hand size up. Winging Itshould never go in your boat since it's hard to get out, get this in your discard pile when you need to discard more than once a phase.
Card Draw: George already has tons of card draw with his ability once you have the right assets and can do his ability 3-4 times each round. Deep Knowledge, Unrelenting, and Take Heart give burst card draw to help recover from Cast Adrift.
Economy: Expect to be at 0 resources to get full value out of Dark Horse. Use your resources on Scrapper / Fire Axe to manage enemies.
I decided not to use as much of his off-class spots as I could have. Nodens only loops survivor skill cards, so I didn't put in Deduction or Quick Thinking into this deck. I found Occult Lexicon underwhelming compared to the other enemy management skills available. Since this deck is a Dark Horse deck, I didn't add any seeker economy either.
