it looks fairly solid to me at base but I think you could improve it a lot with two cards that are in edge of the earth (which you seem to have)
Short supply to increase the amount of power scavenging provides, while also occasionally letting you know not to play around a weakness.
In the thick of it, probably for 2 mental trauma to help start you off each game with just enough int that you can begin investigating right away. (though physical would be safer with your coats)
As for what to spend the 3xp of thick of it on, the level 3 fire extinguisher would give you an endlessly reusable one handed weapon so you can save the other hand for flashlights so its one good option. Pluckys basically three free horror soak and stat boosts is another card to consider but it would be better in a deck that can recycle it.
