To start with 5 experience, run TFA and pick binoculars on Yorrick, auto resign on first scenario.
This build is not taboo friendly, and pretty solidly demonstrates how ridiculous Yorrick can be. It is a bruiser type build with only moderate cluing, however Yorrick will absolutely clean house from turn 1 regardless of initial setup and so your cluer can go full clueing. First upgrade should be another chainsaw (should replace machete), afterwards you can upgrade anything you want.
Set-up Mulligan for chainsaw but keep "naked melee" cards (i.e. vicious blow, daring) in case you don't get it. After the mulligan phase ends short supply drops ten cards into your discard pile, which Yorrick absolutely loves. This also stands another chance of giving him another "naked melee" option in the form of Improvised weapon. Play very aggressively and get an early kill to start playing anything from the discard pile. This build also snowballs very easy once he gets a few assets down. Ever vigilant is nice when you get a lot of assets in hand for asset compression. Once drawing thin is down, use it liberally on investigations with Take Heart for a relatively risk free draw/resource gain and deck cycling, as needed (make sure however to stop drawing once you have everything you need up).
Fighting -The goal is obviously chainsaw, but if you can't get it machete is there for backup (this should be replaced with another chainsaw when you get the exp). Use it till its out of gas, then use act of desperation to drop it into your discard pile. Pull it back using either a naked melee kill on a weak enemy, resourceful, or another chainsaw kill.
Defending -Idol of Xanatos lets yorrick take any hit and drop assets into his discard pile, which absolutely hurts him in no way. You'll otherwise be going for Peter Sylvester and Leather Coat. Second wind and If it Bleeds are there to solely heal any direct damage that gets through (not much will to be honest). Solemn vow lets him heal team mates for free, as well.
Clueing -Deck has limited clueing in the form of Look what I found. Keep in mind look what I found is an auto success on a shroud of 2 unless you draw a tentacle. This can help yorrick clear out low shroud locations and decompress the cluers as well. You can upgrade this to the +3 version, or change it out with Evidence! or Lessons Learned, to preference.
Other optional stuff/closing Scrapper makes the early game easier when you don't have a weapon. If you're in a high willpower campaign drop one peter sylvester for Plucky to help pass those tests. I like this deck because it requires really very little updates and is a powerhouse from scenario 2.
