Skidds is often remarked as the worst investigator in the game, but with his parallel version comming out he has taken quite a leap. He is fun to play and with some calculatd risks a top notch investigator. Here's why:

Parallel skidds has a fantasticability that really lends itself for a few archtypes within the rogue class. Like:

Big Money He makes money quickly in standard. Treating his ability as a conditional extra resource per turn works really well. That means that between Lone Wolf, Investments and your ability you rival Jenny Barnesin resource generation, but with slightly better focus on evasion. Apart from that you have acces to the Fortune and Gambit card pools. With resource cards like: Lone Wolf, Investments, Faustian Bargain, 21 or Bust and adding cards like Unscrupulous Loan, both versions of Hot Streak&Hot Streak and The Red Clock gives you PLENTY of resources for payofs like: The Black Fan, Well Connected and resources to spare to play events.

Succeed by X With a action that you can set the difficulty of is really great. #nimble, "Watch this!" and Quick Thinking have a very good chance of triggering when testing for 0 credits. But the MVP is Lucky Cigarette Case. If there is no need for credits I highly recommend testing for 0 to trigger either Lucky Cigarette Case or to get the amazing ability to get cards back in hand.

Lucky! With the Gambit and Fortune upgrades cards like Lucky! and "Look what I found!" work great. Skidds is in the perfect range for "Look what I found!" and can recur it with the and Eucatastrophe. Also a shoutout to Fortune or Fate.

Underworld Support Underworld Supportin Parallel Skids is fantastic Due to him beginning at deck size 25 and underworld support bringing it down to 20. It makes all the possible Exceptional cards. While you can put in additional upgraded copies of fortune and gambit cards thus ending up with multiple copies of the same card in an Underworld Support deck. I would recommend not doing that. For the consistency of your Exceptional cards draw keeping the deck to 20 cards is best.

lastly I need to mention Geas which is just a fantastic card. You can take the promise not to commit cards during your turn and use the ability to trigger the succeed-by-x cards just before or after your turn.

Upgrading Priorities:

1 Geasand Eye of the Djinn are just amazing cards.Take them and watch the deck speed up. The same goes for The Gold Pocket Watch which will generate a ton of value if you get it early.

2 Hot Streak, Hot Streak, Unscrupulous Loan, Well Connected and most importantly The Black Fan Prioritize unscrupulous loan into Black Fan.

3 Eucatastrophe for recursion of big money cards or "Look what I found!"

4 The Red Clock its just really good.

5 Upgrade utility like .25 Automatic, Lucky!,"Look what I found!", Another Day, Another Dollar,The Skeleton Key,Lola Santiago etc.
