The Practiced Entertainer investigates

Occult Lexicon(Blood-Rite) & Hallowed Mirror(Soothing Melody) add nice spells to the deck, adding plenty targets for a supporting fourth action. This also propels Arcane Initiate spell draw into top of deck draw. Generally, emptying the deck might be an issue, as 7(+3|+6) cards replace themselves and Arcane Initiate & Scroll of Secrets draw, hence the Lexicon & Mirror.

Scroll of Secrets with Practice Makes Perfect into Enraptured is a really powerful combination. One scroll can easily become 5 draw/discards, maybe even 7! That is a big chance to accidentally hit Baron Samedi (or other players' weakness). With Alyssa Graham it becomes an even bigger party:

• Trigger Alyssa Graham: Move a weakness to bottom, or just know your top card.
• Trigger Scroll of Secrets: discard bottom if a weakness just went there, or have another chance to hit a weakness. Worst case it's a card draw.

Research Librarian will make the deck more consistent.

With Charisma, Baron is not a big problem, might even time the appearance with Calling in Favors (bringing that 5 doom David back to your hand).

Two Arcane Research because there is just too much stuff to upgrade.

Honorable mentions for upgrading:

• Practice Makes Perfect can find The Eye of Truth, then commit it to a treachery later.
• Shards of the Void Seal 0 tokens, making it less likely to grab those while using Clairvoyance. Same trick with Crystalline Elder Sign.
• Suggestion is a spell!
• Dayana Esperence with Deny Existence please. Imagine that 3 damage & horror boss just healing you 3+Enraptured times, or keep healing your fighter.

I don't know how the resource economy will hold, maybe swap a Deduction for a Astounding Revelation?

Upgrade priority, where *: 'without Arcane Research'

• 3: Charisma will give plenty space for that required horror soak.
• 2*: 2x Ward of Protection preventing that unpredictable agenda advancement.
• 3*: 2x Clairvoyance makes investigating consistent.
• 5: The Eye of Truth is a freaking powerhouse in multiplayer.
• 1|2: not sure whether to further upgrade Mists of R'lyeh or replace it with Suggestion -> Suggestion.
• 3: Dayana Esperence for that delicious flavor.
