Testing Deck for William Yorick and Playing SOLO against Night of the Zealot and Path to Carcossa campaigns.

I created a deck for William Yorick that include 15 Assets (50% of the deck) and a few events that allow to recover cards form discard pile plus Yorick's ability for recovering assets from discard pile.

If you try this deck or similar deck with a variant please let me know your feedback on the comments.

How to get clues and investigate:

Playing Solo William Yorick can be difficult in order to get clues and investigate, so I also tried to include cards that helps to investigate as William Yorick lacks of investigation. Assest that provides clues like Gravedigger's Shovel or Lantern that reduces the difficulty for investigate places. "Look what I found!" , Evidence! and Perception Skill cards will help to obtain those difficult clues.

The deck includes 14 Intellect Skill symbols (33% of all Skill symbols, so you will always have at hand some boost intellect icons).

Cards economic:

The deck only contains cards with Cost: 0,1,2,3 so it should be easy to play majority of the assets. The reason for this is that I included 15 Assets so you can play and recicle them with W. Yorick's ability.

Besides, it is included several cards that will help to draw more cards without spending extra actions: Rabbit's Foot is a key card on this deck that will allow to draw extra cards. Guts and Perception Skill cards will also allow to have more cards in your hand. Also Resourceful skill card will allow to recover cards from your discard pile. So do not be afraid of using the Shovels, Lantern and Knife for finding clues or adding extra damage to enemies.

Fighting Enemies

I have checked other Decks and usually people add more Guardian Weapon Cards to William Yorick like Machete , beat Cop or .45 Automatic ; however, I think Baseball Bat do similar work here providing a better bonus +2 Combat with a small handicap of losing the bat at some point.

Knifes can provide +1 combat or +2 Combat and +1 damage and after defeating an enemy you can recover the Knifes with Williams's ability. Lanterns can help also to do +1 damage to enemies and Shovels will provide an useful +2 Combat using only 1 hand.

Willpower tests.

Encountered cards usually make you pass a Willpower skill test. For this reason I tried to include cards that can boost our willpower value like Dig Deep, Guts , Unexpected Courage. However, you could suffer on this aspect, so choose carefully which one of these tests can be failed or need to be passed.

Surviving

Health should not be an issue With William Yorick's base health of 8. And you can also use the Leather Coat, Madame Labranche or Guard Dog Guard Dog for protecting your Health.

Sanity can be a problem and you need to keep an eye on losing Sanity points. Cherished Keepsake can be vital for having 2 extra sanity points and Peter Sylvestre is the best Ally for helping with Sanity and also provides you a +1 Agility, feel free to use other ally like Madame Labranche for sanity points too. And i strongly recommend using "If it bleeds..." even for recovering only 1 sanity point.

Upgrades suggestions:

(First 14 points of experience).

I am including Exile Cards on the upgrades as it can be very powerful for one use and keep in mind that William Yorick's "Bury Them Deep" card will provide extra XP that you can spend on those Exile cards.

Ever Vigilant instead of "Rise to the Occasion"

Scrapper (permanent)

Vicious Blow (level 2) instead of "Vicious Blow"-level 0

*Aquinnah Instead of "Madame Labranche"

Infighting Instead of "Dodge"

Flare (Exile card) Instead of "Madame Labranche"

A test of Will (Exile Card) Instead of "Dig Deep" or "Resourceful"

Upgrading Peter Sylvestre (level 2) can help with Willpower skill tests and to protect you from horror.

CAMPAIGNS

I have tested so far on the first Campaign "Night of the Zealot" (I almost win with this deck, One more action avialable and I would have stopped the ritual, but in the last moment the ancient One awoke and killed Yorick.

After playing next campaign "PATH to CARCOSA" I will edit this list and comments.
