Curtain Call Second Impressions and Tips: OK, I think I've cracked this scenario despite my initial misgivings. It seems that the choice whether to first go towards the Lobby or Backstage is essential. I recommend the Lobby. It allows card draw on the Lobby itself, 1-of resource bonus in the box office, access to Balcony, and makes it more likely for the Stranger to spawn backstage. It's important for The Stranger to spawn backstage, because if he does then that means the Dressing Room will always be available. Since the aren't too much damage-dealing dangers in this scenario the Dressing Room ensures that solo Jenny can survice several Encores and get all available XPs. Curiously, Jenny doesn't need to investigate locations by herself. Note that only 3 clues are needed for advancing Act 1, so Fanatics can pick up clues and don't need to be defeated for Jenny to gain XPs. On the other hand Poltergeists are an annoyance. If it weren't for them I wouldn't run Fine Clothes or two copies of Arcane Studies, but alas they're needed. Anyway, I recommend delaying dealing with The Stranger as long as possible and advancing Act 2 and Act 3 within one turn if able. It can be done as such: INVESTIGATE the Stranger (via Arcane Studies), Elusive to somewhere connected with Lobby if needed, MOVE to Lobby, INVESTIGATE the Stranger once more and RESIGN.

Campaign Log:

Curtain Call: R2. Jenny chose not to go to the police! The Stranger is onto Jenny! 9XP (Royal Emissary, Agent of the King, Balcony, Green Room, Lighting Box, Trap Room, Rehearsal Room, Delve Too Deep), 2 Tokens, Stranger Tally: 2, Doubt Tally: 1

Thanks for the write up Magnificate. My experience with the poltergeists were similar but much more deadly when I encountered them running solo with William Yorick. I'm curious to know how much mileage you've got out of Quick Thinking?
