Just read the guide and directly loved the deck.
I upgraded the deck including some of the recommendations mentioned in the comments (also by JamJam32), which inspires me to continue on this with some own impressions.
Earning a little less XP:
16 XP: I would first get rid of the second Peter Syvestre and add 1x further Yaotl.
14 XP: I would get rid of one of the upgreaded Emergency Cachs and replace it by the basic version (without drawing an additional card).
12 XP: I would repeat the step mentioned before :)
In fact I would put Charisma and upgraded lucky into the deck first, after that I added 1 or 2 Yaotl, which suits best with the desperate cards in combination with Ashcans ability to discard cards from hand.
