This is my second attempt at a Jim Culver deck for a multiplayer campaign I'm taking part in. Has some similarities to what I did with the previous version. With a bit more focus on the five non-mystic cards while building this time.

For some reason I was really taken by the Dark Horse card. I'm often resource starved after boosting skills, so I liked the idea of a permanent +1 to all my skills when I inevitably run-out of resources. This meant I decided to take Hard Knocks (in addition to the usual Arcane studies I'll run) so I can boost my fighting and if desperate evasion stats. Jim has a respectable 3 for both fighting and investigating so I decided to take a Seeker ally and a Guardian ally in the form of Dr Milan and the Beat Cop so I can have the chance to boost either my Investigation or Comabt abilities by +1 as necessary. With the view to use the Doctor early on to rack up clues and resources, with the Beat Cop switching in to help with the late game fighting.

Scavenging is the final piece of the puzzle, as I intend to level up and get the Grotesque Statue and cycle it back into my hand from the discard pile. In the meantime I've taken 2x Flashlights, 2x Knives and 1x Painkillers to help with investigating, fighting and healing.

For the Mystic cards I tried to keep it more streamlined this time. Taking a Shriveling for attack, Rite of Seeking for investigating and Clarity of Mind for trauma recovery. I've added a Book of Shadows so I can have all my Arcane spells and recharge them. My mystic events are 2x Ward of Protection for deck protection, 2x Blinding light for evasion, 2x Hypnotic Gaze for monster protection and Uncage the Soul to help me afford to cast my spells.

For support cards I've taken 2x Emergency Cache to help me get going, 2x Torrent of Power to help get spells off or if needs be for desperate skill tests, Ritual Candles to help with skill all tests, a Holy Rosary and St Hubert's Key to improve my sanity plus boost willpower and potentially intellect with the Key.

The one game we've played so far resulted in Jim gaining a follower in the form of Alejandro Vela and getting Poisoned :(
